The funeral will be at his home in Rukubi village on 25th April 2020.

Son of the late Stephen Gathangi and Edith Wambui. Husband of Jacinta Wangui Kariuki. Father of Newton Njoroge, Jeniffer Muchiri, Oscar Njau, Rose Muchai, Boniface Muguku. Brother of the late Nelson Muguku, John Muhia, Peris Kanyua, the late Munyua Maina, Prof. Thairu, Damaris Wanjiku, the late Kiarie Njoroge, Njogu Wahinya, Lucy Njenga.
