1940 – 2022

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Paul Otieno Nyaema, which occurred on Saturday, 3rd December, 2022 at Kisii Teaching & Referral Hospital.

He was the loving husband to the late Peres Otieno, and Mildred Otieno.

Son of the late Mzee Paulo Nyaema and the late Mama Lucia Anyango. Step-son to the late Yunes, the late Nerea & the late Serfina.

Father to Janet, Khadija, Jane, Tom, Verah, Sammy, Patroba, Linda, Joshua, Hellen, Maxwell, Paul, Sharon, Dan, Harriet & Wendy.

Brother to the late Ouma, the late Okeyo, the late Owuor, the late Amos, Oluoch, the late Joel, the late Phillip, the late Ogolla, the late Kanisa, Otieno, Okomo, Roselida, Helida Lillian, Pamela, Akinyi, Adoyo, the late Sarah & the late Ruth. Son-in-law to the late Nicanor Odera & Truphena Agutu, the late Jactone Ang’adi & Christina Nyangome.

His late uncles (Ogutu, Oendhe & Odoyo Okal and late aunties. Magdalina Ager, Ndege, Odinga Nyamula).

Father-in-law to Asiyo, Khamis, Nobai, Ricky, Tolbert, Sylvia, Mary, Ogoma & the late Nelly. Grandfather to 30 and Great-Grandfather to 13.

The Cortege leaves Kirindo Funeral Home on Thursday, 15th December 2022, at 10.00am for a requiem service at his home by Kaswanga SDA Church, from 11.00pm to 01.00pm. The burial will take pIace at his home, Kaswanga, Rusinga Island on Friday, 16th December, 2022.
