Birth: 27th January 1933 – Death: 14 th July 2024

It is with heavy but grateful hearts and acceptance of God’s divine plan that we announce the passing on of Pauline Wangui Kamau, which occurred on Sunday 14 July 2024 at Nazareth Hospital.

Daughter of the Late Mr. & Mrs. Leonard Nganga Kabitu of Karia Village, Ikinu Sub-Location, Kiambu County.

Wife of the late Joseph C. Kamau (Sago) of Kirigiti, Riabai Location, Kiambu County.

Mother of Patricia Nyokabi Kamau, Joan Nyambura Kamau and Martin Muchiri Kamau (Babu).

Grandmother of Pauline Wangui, Peter Njoroge, Charles Kimani, Wendy Mumbi, Triza Wanjiku, Jael Wangui and Alnina Alami. Great grandmother of Kyle and Gabriella.

Sister of the late George Mbugua (Ikinu), the late Teresia Njambi (Karia), the late Rose Wangari (Karatu – Gatundu), the late Fredrick Gachii (Karia), Professor John Kinyuru (Karen), Joseph Kangethe (Joswin Academy – Nakuru), Benedict Njagwi (Eastleigh), the late Edward Mwaura, Goretti Wanjiru (Tigoni) and Rose Nduta (Langata).

Sister in law of the late Jane Wanjiku, the late JP Gatui, the late Miriam Mukuhi, the late Mary Wambui, the late Peter Njoroge, the late Mary Njoki Njino, Mary Glarace Watetu Gatui, Wanjiku Mbugua, the late Peter Kamau, Bernard Njinu, the late Phyllis Wanjiru, Nancy Wangui, Leah Wanjiku, Winnie Ngendo, Grace Wanjiru, Agnes Ngendo, the late Eliud Njenga & Hiram K.Waruhiu.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Kirigiti for prayers and funeral arrangements at 5.00PM daily. The cortege leaves KU Referral Mortuary (Bypass) on Tuesday 23 rd July 2024 at 8.00AM.

The Requiem Mass will be held on the same day at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiambu.

Burial will take place thereafter at her home in Kirigiti.
