It is with great humility and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our Matriarch Peris Wangechi Waruingi Kimata on Monday 27th July, 2020.

Loving wife of the late Cyrus Waruingi Kimata. Daughter of the late Josphat Gitahi and the late Prisca Wahito. Mother of the late Eunice Wangari Muhindi, Prisca Wahito Macharia Nyahururu, Stephen Maina Waruingi formerly KCB Nyahururu, Beatrice Nyambura Gatuma- Nanyuki, the late Samuel Gitahi Waruinge, Advocate Jane Njeri Karanja formerly of KP&TC Mombasa, Mary Wairimu Waruingi of Norken Int. Ltd, the late George Mugambi Waruingi and the late Wilson Wachira Waruingi formerly of KP&TC Nyeri. Sister of the late Wachira Gitahi & the late Githaiga Gitahi. Mother-in-law of Stephen Muhindi of Thunguri Othaya, Francis Macharia, Hellen Waruingi formerly of Nyahururu Gen. Hospital, the late Rose Gitahi Advocate, J.K. Kanyi of Kanyi J & Co. Advocates Mombasa, Purity Mugambi of Joy Food Industries, and Veronica Wachira formerly of KP&TC Nyeri.Aunty, Grandmother and a Great Grandmother of many.

The cortege leaves Outspan Hospital Nyeri on Monday 3rd August, 2020 at 0900 hrs. Burial at her home in Witima Village, Karima Location, Nyeri County.
