It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. Peter Kasango which occurred on March 19, 2020 at MP Shah Hospital after a short illness. Mr. Kasango was the immediate former Deputy Chief Economist at The National Treasury and former Principal Economist at the Ministry of EAC and Regional Affairs.

Beloved son of the late Thomas Mutisya Kasango and Veronica Ndumi; Loving husband of Scolastica Mwikali Kasango; adoring father of Sandra Ndumi (KEPHIS), Sharon Munee (Direct Pay Online) and Serena Nthenya (CUEA). Brother of Jane and Wilson Nzii (Matuu), Joan Juma and late Maj Juma, the late Rose Nduku and Patrick Nyette, Elizabeth Kasango, Joseph Starr and Irene Kasango, Stella and Albert Napier (Seychelles) and Mary Nzisa Kasango. Son-in-law of the late Matthias Mwololo and Monica Munee Ndolo of Kilome. Nephew and Cousin to The Kasangos and The Kakenyis. Uncle of Stanislaus Nzii, Joy Juma, Kimweli Nyette, Juliet Muthets, Jordan Kasango, Eva Napier, Arnold Mwangi and The Ndolos of Kilungu among others.

Cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home on Friday, March 27 at 6am for the burial ceremony to be held at ltuusya Village, Mbilini in Kangundo, Machakos County.
