It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Peter Kimani Kariuki, Head of Department Medical Laboratory KMTC, Director Corner House medical laboratory Nairobi, which occurred on 17 October 2020 after a short illness.

He was the son of Lucy Nyaruai and the Late Joseph Kariuki of Nanyuki. Loving husband to Esther Gathu of Ministry of Interior. Caring father to Michael Karanja, Alex Kariuki (St. Hannahs preparatory School) and Chris Gathu (St. Hannahs preparatory School). Brother to Consolata Wamuyu, Mary Njoki, Elizabeth Wangechi, Jecinta Nyambura and the Late Teresiah Wanjiru and Stephen Waweru. Son in law of Jane Njeri Gathu and the Late Joseph Gathu

Brother in law of Nancy Mungai, Paul Mamili and the Late Charles Mungai, Patrick Gathu, and George Karanja. Uncle of Lucy, Entenziah, Stella, Austine, Bridgit, Samantha, Sherleen, Cate, and Elaine among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Upperhill Springs for funeral arrangements from 5.00 PM.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday 27 October 2020 at 7.00 AM for a funeral service at his father’s home in Mwea Farm, Nanyuki.
