It is with humble, acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Peter Kiprotich Koech of Moi University and Lolkeringet-Kitale on Thursday 3rd September 2020 at Galilee Hospital Kitale after a long illness bravely borne.

Son of the late Lawrence and Christine Biama. Beloved husband of Rebecca Koech. Adoring father of Hillary Kiprop, Mathew Kipkemei, Patricia Cherono, Abigael Chepkemboi, and Louise Kibet. Brother of the late Clementina Songok, Dr. Joseph Koech, Veronica Chelel, Lucy Omunga, Mary Bii, Elizabeth Korir and the late Hellen Koech.

Son in law of the late Kibusa and Lydia Mutai. Brother in law of Pius Songok, Samwel Bii, David Koech, Michael Mutai, Pastor David Kibusa, the late Collins Orunga, the late Henry Korir, Joan Sang, Rosemary Koech, Viola Chepkemboi and Caroline Chepkosgei. Uncle of many.

The cortege leaves Cherangany hospital mortuary on Friday 11th September 2020 at 12:30PM for a requiem mass at Lawrence Catholic Church Lolkeringet Funeral Service and burial will be held on Saturday 12th September 2020 at his home in Lolkeringet farm Trans Nzoia County from 9AM.
