It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. Peter Kiulio Ikiburu, which occurred on Friday 12th January 2024 while receiving treatment at The Nairobi Women Hospital – Ngong’ Road, following a long illness bravely borne. Until his demise, he was the Principal Kieni Secondary School, Maara Sub-County.

Son of Paul M’lkiburu and Harriet Kangai. Son-in-law of Monicah Karamburi and the late Joseph M’Limbere.

Loving husband to Salome Kawira (Ruth). Cherished father of Betty Wanja, Roy Munene, Emmalyn Mwende & Victor Wisdom Mwenda and Josiah Mutethia.

Brother of Joel Matheta (igembe Boys), Alice Kawira Murea (Kathelwa), Elijah Ikiburu (County Government of Meru) and Peninah Muthuri (Kangeta Girls).

Grandfather of Liam Muthomi and Leoga Crown. A loving cousin, uncle and friend to many.

Friends and family are meeting daily at Nyambene Lodge Maua from 6.30pm to 8.00pm, Kajuko Center Laare from 6,00pm to 8.00pm and at his Amaku home for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Maua Methodist Hospital Mortuary on Saturday 20th January, 2024 at 9.00am for 4 funeral service at MCK Netuene Methodist Church and thereafter the burial service will be held at “et his Kiambanjoa home in Amaku Sub-Location, Kiengu Sub-County, lgembe Central.
