It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of Gods will that we announce the promotion to glory of Peter Njoroge Njihia after a long illness bravely borne. He hails from Tumaini Village, Olkalou Constituency, Nyandarua County.

Son of the late Michael Njihia Ndome and the late Mary Gachambi Njihia of Kambaa village, Lari location, Kiambu County. Step-son of both the late Muthoni Njihia and the late Wambui Njihia. Brother of Joseph Mwai, the late Cecelia Wanjiru, the late John Kabiru, Late Michael Njuguna, the late Jecinta Wanjiku and Joseph Kibuika. Step-brother of the late Joseph Mwai, Elizabeth Ngigi, the late John Mwaura, Agnes Wanjiru, Beth Waringa, Peter M. Njihia, Jecinta Mumbi and Mercy Wanini.

Father of John Njihia (Silanga Secondary), Jane Gachambi (Netherlands), James Kimani (Tumaini), George Mwai (Nyahururu), Joseph Waiguru (USA), Regina Kamau (Ekay), Lucas Kabiru (Nakuru), Robert Kiragu (USA), Rose Wanjiru Lassiter (USA), Dr. Anne Njoki Kimani (USA), Michael Njuguna (USA) and Jecinta Wanjiku of Panama.

He was the father in law of Elizabeth Njihia, Paul Hiuhu of Netherlands, Mary Kimani, Jane Waiguru, Edwin Kamau Njagi (Toyota Kenya), Eunice Kabiru, Felister Kiragu (USA), John Paul Kimani (USA) and Jason Lassiter (USA). A grandfather and great-grandfather to many children.

The burial will take place on Thursday the 08/07/2021 in Tumaini Village, Olkalou Constituency, Nyandarua County, starting from 10.00am. The cortege will leave at War Memorial Hospital, Nakuru at 7.30am.
