PHARES OLWERO MBADI (PHARO)

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing away of our beloved son Phares Paul Olwero Mbadi (Pharo) on 29th June 2020. He was a Mechanical Engineering student at (JKUAT) and a distinguished rugby player.

Son of Linet Mbadi (Westlands Primary) and Tom Mbadi Olwero (Communucations Authority (CA)), of Kanyada Katuma. Brother of Lenny Odongo and Dr. Ruth Mbadi Odongo (JKUAT), Agnes Mbadi (Aggie’s Pastries), Beatrix Mbadi (CA), Elisha Mbadi (Strathmore University), lska Mbadi (St. George’s Sec. School), Emmanuel Mbadi (Nairobi School). Grandson of Mama Ruth Olwero and the late Mzee Phares Olwero Achuku of Kanyada Katuma and Mama lska Adongo, Doris Omollo, Joyce Omollo and the late Elisha Omollo of Kamagambo Kanyineombejapheth Achuku and Zablon Were. Nephew of the late Agneta Oyuko, Agnes Orony (US), Christine Ooga, Alice Odhiambo (UK), Judith Odondi, Dorah Orony, Monica Abonyo, Lilian and Nasser Olwero (US) and Florence and Fred Mudhai (UK), Tom Kimbero, Joel Kimbero, Joseph Ouma, Olga Omollo, Mary Adhiambo, Elizabeth Agure, Kevin Were, Emmanuel Achuku, among others. Cousin of Mariam Akinyi, Edwin Dande (Cytonn), Derrick Okoth, Javan Odhiambo, the late Maureen Awuor, Fridah Dande (US), Ruth Otieno, Adam Nasser (US), Ruth Mudhai (UK) among others. Uncle to Elly and Ella Odongo.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home, Nairobi on 8th July 2020 for burial on the same day at their home in Nyakwere, Kamkuyu village near Rongo town, Migori County.
