Pharis Muchemi Wambugu

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Pharis Muchemi Wambugu, Unit Manager Kenindia Assurance Co. — Nyeri branch on Sunday March 8th 2020. Muchemi went to be with the Lord after a short illness.

Loving husband to Naomi Wanjiku. Father to Eldad Wambugu, Samuel Mwangi, James Nderitu, Emmah Ann Wamucii (Kcb, Kencom), Grace Wamahiga and Stephen Githinji. Father in law of Gladys Chepchirchir (Asumbi T.T.C), Paul Karuta and Joseph Maina. Brother to Elder Ruth Muchemi, Miriam Wanjiru, Benson wachiuri, Elder Beatrice Wanderi, Joseph Macharia (Mors Bridge) Late Daniel Muriithi, Philip Githaiga and Rahab Wachira (KWS). In-law to the late Samuel Mwangi and Grace Wamahiga. Brother in law of Gabriel Muchemi, David Wanderi, Peter Wachira, the late Joram Mugwe, Tabitha Wachiuri, Rahab Macharia and Nyokabi Githaiga. Grandfather to eight grandchildren.

Family and friends are meeting at their rural home in Wandumbi village and in magomano hotel opposite tea house — Nairobi, starting from 5:30 p.m. for the burial arrangements.

The cortege will leave Nyeri funeral home Outspan on Monday 16th March 2020 at 8:00 a.m. followed by burial ceremony at P.C.E.A Wandumbi church starting at 10:30 a.m. Thereafter, burial Will follow at his home in Wandumbi Village.
