PHILAMON KIBET KAINO

It is with deep regret that we announce the untimely death of Philamon Kibet Kaino of National Museum of Kenya, who died in the early hours of Monday, 9th November, 2020 at his Kabete Residential home, after a long battle with Cancer.

A loving husband of Tabitha Kibet. A loving father of Everlyne Jepchumba, Caren Jepkosgei, Annalyne Jemutai and Jacinta Jelagat. Son of Thomas Kaino Rotich and Maria Kaino. Brother of the late Samuel Kaboron, the late Peter Kimutai, Josphine Jesang, Georgina Jepkong’a, Margaret Jepkosgei and the late Sabina Jepchumba. Son-in-law of Benjamin Boit and Josephine Boit.

Friends and relatives are holding meetings and prayers at his residential home, Kabete and his home Village (Kipkirwon) – Elgeyo-Marakwet County ahead of his burial that is scheduled to take place on 14th November, 2020.

The cortege will leave Chiromo Funeral Home on Friday, 13th November, 2020 for overnight stay at his rural home Kipkirwon Village followed by burial on 14th November, 2020.
