To the family of Philip,
For years, humans have suffered the painful sting of death. Even after years, the loss seems to be vividly remembered by loved ones. Our loving heavenly father sees and feels for us. This is why He has promised to do away with death. At Isaiah 25:8 we read; “He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces…”
Can you imagine a life without the threat of dying? This is a promise from our loving creator. Soon, not only will he completely destroy death, but will also undo the effects of death! He promises to resurrect our dead loved ones. This is a beautiful prospect of seeing our loved ones again (John 5:28, 29).
