PHILOMENA NDUKU MWENDWA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Philomena Nduku Mwendwa, wife to the late Joseph Muthama Mwendwa, which occurred on the 07th November, 2021.

Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Musyoki Kathuku of Mbiuni Mwala. Co-wife of the late Hannah Wanjiru Mwendwa, Mother of Moses Mwendwa (HLB Cezam), the late Kavulunze Mwendwa, Patrick Mwendwa, the late Mwendwa Muthama, Francis Mwendwa, John Mwendwa, Mary Mutune, Jane Kanini Njeru, Terry Wamakau, Lucy Mwendwa, Regina Kaliti, Esther Mwendwa, Jemima Njuguna, Catherine Kilonzo, Becky Kabuiku and Jacob Mwendwa.

Mother-in-law of Justina Mwendwa, Margaret Nzioka Peter Mutune, Sammy Njeru, Richard Wamakau, the late Lucy Malingu, Njuguna Mbugua, Josiah Kaliti, Justin Kabuiku, Zack Kilonzo and Priscillah Ngucie. Sister of the late Joseph Mui (Mwala), the late Mbatha, the late Ndele Willy Musee, Mary Mueni (Mwala), the late Ndinda Boniface, the late Peter Sila.

Grandmother of the late Joseph Muthama, Dominic, Rosa, Tony, Mueni, Irene, JS Muthama, Victor, Nduku; JJ Muthama, Shiru, Armidale, Karanja, Andrew, Bernadette, Catherine, Nduku,Wawira, Nyaga, Munene, Muthama, Shiru, J Muthama, Sarah, Sammy, Peter and Lisa among many others and great-grandmother to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at the late Joseph Mwendwa’s home in Ndaragwa and St. Andrews Church – Old Hall in Nairobi from Tuesday 09/11/2021, to Thursday 11/11/2021, at 6.00pm. to 7.30pm.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Morialisa Funeral Home, at 6.00am, on Saturday 13th November, 2021. Funeral service will be held at Mwendwa’s farm in Ndaragwa Scheme at 11.00am, followed by burial at the same venue.

We all loved her but God loved her most. May God rest her soul in eternal peace. Amen!
