It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing into glory of our family Matriarch and Mother, the late Mrs Phylis Sussanah Masila.

Wife of the late Samuel Masila Mwanthi.

Daughter of the late Senior Chief Zakayo Kitwiki Nzioka and the late Sellah Wanzuu Nzioka. Sister of the late Kiveli, the late Wambua, the late Mutie, the late Keli, the late Daniel, the late Martha and the late Nason.

Mother of the late Eng. John Masila, Emmanuel Mutua, Fredrick Mwangangi, Lt Col (Rtd) Charles Masila, Philip Masila, the late Mbithi, Andrew Kasyoka, Florence Nzilani and Wilkins Mwanzia. Mother-in-law of Rose Ndunge, Jane Mutua, Jemimah Mwangangi, Agnes Masila, Elizabeth Wambua, Foster Pawsey and Serah Mwanzia.

Grandmother to Manthi, Kioko, Susan, Mbithi, Mutunga, Kyalo, Fiona Mwende, Susan Mbithe, Emmanuel Mwendwa, Susan Nthamba, Carol, Sarah Masila, Sarah Mutheu, Ken Wambua, Joylyne Nzilani, Sarah Mwikali, Kioko, Florence Ndanu, Michael, Winnie Mwanzia, Sylvia, Susan, Blessings. Great-grandmother to Ellaine, lvy, Fred, Gab, Nathaniel, Joy, Iris, among others.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home – Machakos on Friday 12th January 2024 at 8.00am for a graveside service at her Mua Hills home, followed by the internment.
