PRISCILLA MIHIUKO GITONGA

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Priscilla Mihiuko Gitonga who hailed from Kanyinya village, Tetu in Nyeri County.

Daughter of the late Peterson Wanjau Muthui and the late Mercy Wambui Wanjau. Wife of the late Ibrahim Gitonga Kirethi.

Mother of Amos Gitonga, the late Lilian Mwaniki and Grace Gitonga.

Mother in law of Ngure Mwaniki and Betty Wanjiru.

Sister of Wangeci, Wangari, the late Ndiritu, late Muriithi, late Gathoni, late Wanderi, late Ngatia, late Muthui, late Ichura and late Njachi.

She was sister in law of Wambui, Waihuini, Nyathogora, Dr. Jemimah Ngatia, late Muthoga, late Theuri, late Gacau, late Wangeci and late Mweru Kirethi.

Loving grandmother of Thitu & Kimani, George & Mabel, Mwaniki, Maina Gitonga, Annette & Emmanuel, Bilha & Martin, Samuel & Shana, Wangeci Mwaniki, James, Dennis and Gitonga Mwaniki. She was a great grandmother of many children.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her farm in Tubania/ Miagayu-ini from 4:00 pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Mathari Hospital Mortuary on 17 th July 2024 at 8:00 am for a funeral service at PCEA Miagayu-ini Church from 10:00 am.

She will later be laid to rest in her farm Tubania/ Miagayu-ini, Kimathi location.
