It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Priscilla Wairimu Maina of Gathehu village, Magutu Location, Mathira East Sub-County, Nyeri Country.

Daughter of the late Mutuandii Muthiru and the late Rose Wachuka, Wife of the late Joseph Maina Karianjahi. Mother of Charles Karianjahi (CK), Caroline Thuguri, Purity Wachuka, Elizabeth Njeri, Lawrence Weru, Catherine Nyakeru, Edward Ngatia, James Githaiga, Mary Muthoni, Ann Nyawira & Alice Gathoni.

Sister to; Githaiga, Mwarari, Nyakeru, Ephraim Mutahi, Susan Gathoni, Esther Gacheke, Geoffrey Kaigi, Nyokabi, Margaret Wanjugu (all departed) and Christopher Mathenge (Nanyuki). Her step-stepbrothers were Githaiga, Mutahi (Kabiruini), Njeru, Gatimu (all departed) & Mugi.

Mother-in-law of Ngugi, Dan, Tairus, the late Onesmus, Agnes, Wawira and Mwangi Nderitu. Grandmother of Nyambura, Alex, Ken, Nkrumah, Faith, Victor, Angela, Eric, Dennis, James, Kevin, Karen, Janice, Levert, Muthoni, Robert, Aden, Braeden, Lynn, Tracy, Irene, Destine, Jude, Abriana, Hakim, Ariana, Kloe, Malcom, Cynthia, Willy, Wycliff and Baraka. Great-grandmother of Emmanuel, Ivanna, Jason, Jayden, Britney, Abir, Ryan, Gabriela, Ethan, Kyle & many others to come.

Family and friends are meeting daily at family home Gathehu Village for prayers and funeral arrangements from 5.00pm,

Burial and funeral service will be at her Gathehu home farm, past lhwagi, Karatina on Thursday 5th August, 2021, starting from 10.30am. Due to Covid 19 restrictions there are no physical meetings.
