It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Prof. Everett Maraka Standa.

Son to the late Jotham Standa and the late Rhoda Standa.

Loving Husband to Florence Standa and Elizabeth Standa. Father to Lumbasi Standa, Jotham Standa and Christopher Standa, Victor Standa, Bonnventure Standa, Susan Standa, Serah Standa, Rhoda Standa and Patricia Standa. Grandfather to Mark, Philip, Mohammed and Tots.

Brother to Rosalind Chakava, Mary Angore, Jemimah Standa, the late Tabitha Standa, Abigael Standa, Janet  Makanga, the late Edith Standa Dorothy Standa, the late Patricia Shisia. the late Hellen Malika.

Brother-in-law to Dr. Henry Chakava, Philip Angore, the late Fanuel Makanga, Benson Malika, Fred Shisia, Prof. Aggrey Mokasa, Joseph Smith Okoth, among others.

Uncle to Sharon Banda, Jotham Makanga, Winnie Angore, Kevin Standa, Edward Malika, and Edgar Khaemba, among many others.

Cousin to Edah Ngaira, Francis Murali, Aggrey Sitati Aggrey Mokasa and Nicholas Simani among others.

Funeral arrangements are on going at Friends Church – Ngong Road – Nairobi, on 9th, 10th 13 and 14th November, 2023. There are also daily meetings at his Mahanga Village home.

There will be a fundraiser next Wednesday 15th November. 2023 at 5.30pm at United Kenya Club (UKC).

The funeral and burial service will be held on Saturday 18th November 2023 at Mahanga Village, Webuye.
