PROF. GODWIN PARMENA KAAYA

It is with deep regret that we announce the untimely death of Prof. Godwin Parmena Kaaya who died in the early hours of Tuesday, 2nd June 2020 at The Nairobi hospital after a short illness.

He was the husband of Violet Okwaro Kaaya. Loving father to Oscar Kaaya, Brenda Kaaya-Hallen, Raymond Kaaya and Sheila Kaaya. Father-in-law of Reuben Heinrich Hallen and Emma Kaaya. Loving grandfather to Chege Gitonga and Jaha Gitonga.

He was the son of the late Parmena Kaaya and the late Katrina Filipo Kaaya. Brother to Eonike Mbise, the late William Parmena, Grace Mainoya, Christabel Kaaya, the late Hulda Nyiti, Theodosia Kisaka, Selestina Nyari, Charles Kaaya, Somi Kaaya and Robert Kaaya.

There will be a short service that will be followed by the burial on 11th of June 2020. It will be presided over by the congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses where he professed his faith. There will be memorial service talk given online at a date and through a channel to be communicated.
