RACHEL MWAKISHA MUGHO

With humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing on of our beloved Rachel Mwakisha Mugho on Wednesday, 14th August 2024.

Rachel was the loving wife of the late Steven Mwakisha Mugho.

Devoted mother of Moses Maghanga, David Mwakachola and Mercy Wache Wainaina. Cherished mother-in-law of Wainaina Karanja.

She was a proud grandmother of Karanja Wainaina. Daughter of the late David Livingstone Mwakachola and the late Martha Chao.

Beloved sister of Jacob Mazarimu, the late Lucas Mwangaghe, Ronald Idawo, Peter Mwachugha and Hillary Mwachia. 

Rachel was also the daughter-in-law of  the late Moses Mwakisha Mugho and the late Mercy Wache.

She was a treasured sister-in-law of Dinah, Jane, Renalda, Keziah, Priscilla, Martin, Jonathan, the Late Janet, James, the late Nancy, Jackson, Getrude, the Late Williamson, Eunice, Aggrey, Sarah, Hope, Mary, the late Behold and the Late Eileen.

Rachel was a beloved cousin, aunt and dear friend to many. 

A fundraising event to help with medical and funeral expenses will be held on Wednesday, 21st August 2024, at her home in Transview Estate, Athi River, from 5:00  pm.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, 22nd August 2024, at House of Transformation Church, Athi River, from 10:00 am.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, Nairobi, on Friday, 23rd August 2024.

The burial will take place on Saturday, 24th August 2024, at Kese Village, Werugha Location, Taita Taveta County.
