It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Rachel Nyambura Muraya on 23rd November 2023.

Beloved wife to the late Joseph Kabiaru Muraya.

Daughter to the late Musa Gikonyo and the late Dorcas Nduta.

Mother to Nancy Muraya, Betty Muraya Miller, David Kabiaru Muraya the late Faith Nduta Muraya, the late Moses Gikonyo Muraya, Ben-Martin Gachuhi Muraya the late Nancy Wanjiku Gachuhi and Elizabeth Muraya. Mother-in-law to Bill Miller. Grandmother to Ronnie Muraya, Felister Ngina Muraya the late Roy Matara, Nyambura Gikonyo, Cindy Muraya, Rachel Gachuhi, Haezol Gachuhi, Joseph Muraya Gachuhi and Preston Keberlein. Great grandmother to Ray Kabiaru Muraya and Luna Nduta Muraya.

Sister to the late Newton Gikore, Elishiba Wami Kimani, Andrew Watiki, the late Zakayo Gathatwa, Jonah Gatu the late Beatrice Wanjiku Mugo, Gerishon Kihatu and the late Janet Wangechi.

Sister-in-law to the late Benson Gachuhi, the late Grace Njeri Ndugu, the late Kirika Kabiaru, the late London Kamau, Danson Mahugu and the late Beatrice Njoki Kiguoya.

Prayers and funeral arrangements are being held at her home along Kodi Road Nairobi West starting from 3pm.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Friday 1st December 2023 at 7:00 am for a funeral service at St.Andrew’s church Kairo starting at 10:00am.Thereafter burial at her home in Kairo Village, Mathioya Constituency, Muranga County.
