RAHAB WANJIKU GIKUNGU

We invite you to celebrate the life of Evangelist Rahab Wanjiku Gikungu who passed away to be with the Lord at 7.00am, on Tuesday 16th November, 2021, at KU Hospital.

Wife of the late SP Eliud Gikungu Harun. Daughter of the late Mr and Mrs. Benson Nyutho Matigi. Daughter-in-law to the late Mr and Mrs Harun Wageche Kabuto.

Mother to Rose Wanjiru Kahihu, Harun Wageche Gikungu, the late Benson Nyutho Gikungu, the late Arthur Chege Gikungu, Zipporah Wambui Gikungu (UK), Mary Wangui Gikungu and Martin Matigi Gikungu.

Sister to the late Mary Wangui Gitei, Joyce Kabura Irungu, Martin Matigi Nyutho, the late Ben Gakere Nyutho, Dr. Edwin Ngure Nyutho, Florence Waruinu Nyutho, Margaret Wakuru Nyutho and the late Peter Muturi Nyutho. She was an Evangelist with All Saints Cathedral Ministry; a mentor, godmother and grandmother to many.

Her body which lies at KU Mortuary Home will be transferred to Montezuma Funeral Home, near Kabati on Friday 19th November, 2021.

Friends are meeting at ACK St. Elizabeth Church; her Kahawa West- Estate home 12Q and her lriini home daily, from 2.00pm.

Her funeral service will be presided over by the Rt. Rev. Dr. Bishop Gichere of Mt. Kenya Central, at 10.00am, at ACK St. Marks Church – Gituto, on Thursday 25th November, 2021. Her burial will follow later at her lriini farm.

She’s now with the Lord who she served with all her heart.
