It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Raphael Karanja Ogola of Akala –Gem on 11th May 2024.
Beloved husband of Betty Nyandat – Ogola.
Son of the late Joseph Ogola and Veronica Wanjeri Ogola and step son of Maria Raminda.
Nephew of Leonora,Victoria, Herenia, Paulina, Sabina, Lucy, Anthony Kamau, Albert Abondo, the late Jane, Pamela, Grace, Trizah, Ruth, and Pauline.
Son in-law of the late Nelson and Pamela Nyandat.
In-law of Peter and Eileen Maina; Philip and Anne Ndungu; Sylvester and Lovenca Muskotevc.
Beloved Father of Sandra Ogola – Wangara (Pharmacist), Evelyne Ogola –Guchu (Event Planner) and Stephanie Ogola – Muskotevc (of Slovenia). Father in-law of
Stephen Wangara, Joseph Guchu and David Muskotevc. Grandfather of Sekai, Jayden, Ethan, Ezme, David, Azbe, Aljaz and Alina Atiena.
He was the great grandson of the late Paramount Chief Ambrose Ndeda Imbinda, grandson of the late Johannes Odera, Albeta Wenwa, Raphael Karanja and Hannah
Wangari.
He was the brother of Pius Oloo, Anne Wayayi, John Ogolla, Dr. Teresa Ogina, Mary Arina, Late Rose Ogolla, William Ogolla and Eng. Michael Ogola. Step-brother of
the late Obote, Akinyi, late Akoth, Kilo, late Ogwela, Jack, Tila and Dayo. Brother in-law of Beatrice Dama, William Wayayi, Sylvia Ogolla, Josiah Nyawara Ogina,
Maurice Arina, the late Charles Ndirangu, Carolyn Mutindi, Nancy Chemeli, Pritt and Sarah Nyandat, Paul Nyandat, Job and Suzanne Nyandat, Eric and Eunice
Nyandat and Linda and George Mwaniki. He was also a beloved uncle, cousin, and grandfather of many.
The cortege arrives at Kisumu International Airport on Thursday 23 rd May 2024 at 10am and will then be transported to St. Sylvester Catholic Church, Kokumo,
Kanyadet for a requiem Mass.
Burial Mass will take place on Friday 24 th May 2024 at his home in Korango, just after Oseno Primary School in Akala-Gem, Siaya County starting at 10.00am with
the mass being presided over by Rev, Fr Thomas Ouma of St. Bonface, Aluor Parish
Adhiambo, you fought a good fight, you have won the race, you kept your faith. May the lords name be exalted.
