RAPHAEL NDEGWA MAINA
With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Raphael Ndegwa Maina, affectionately known as Raphie, formerly of Standard Chartered Bank.
He was the beloved son of the late Mrs. Gladys Maina and the late Maina Ndegwa.
Raphael was a devoted father of Pheroz Maina and Mitaru Ndegwa.
He is survived by his cherished siblings: Bernadette Wanjira, Zarina Omar (MSA), Serah Gitonga, Anne Maina, Sally Maina-Mwangi (UK), Florence Maina-Bata Kenya, Millie Achoki, Maryl Ndegwa and Caroll Maina(Canada), as well as beloved brothers-in-law Sam Mwangi (UK) and James Achoki.
A treasured uncle, he leaves behind a large family of nieces and nephews, including Juney, Njoki, Shiro, Kariuki, Cynthia, Darcel, Firdaus, Zaina, Farmy, Elsie, Nadia, Kauthar, Debra, Glyde, Daphney, Fahim, Hussein, Kristen, Krystal and many others.
In honor of Raphael, a fundraiser will be held today, Wednesday, 25th September 2024 from 5:00 pm to 8:00pm at All Saints Cathedral.
The funeral service will take place on Friday, 27th September 2024, at CITAM Valley Road at 10.00 am.
The cortege will depart from Kenyatta University Teaching & Referral Hospital Mortuary (Northern By-Pass) on Saturday, 28th September 2024, at 7.00 am for a burial at his father’s farm in Ngunyumu Village, Kirinyaga County.
