RAPHAEL OBONYO OKELLO (RAMJI)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Raphael Obonyo Okello (Ramji) of Kanyada, Homa Bay after a brave battle with cancer.

Son of Phillip Okello and Angelina Opiyo Okello. Step-son to Isdora Okeche Okello.

Husband to Nancy Obonyo and Helen Obonyo. Father to Fred Otieno, Jackline Atieno, Gloria Awuor, Clare Achieng, Robert Omondi, Dr. Lawrence Ochieng and Wakili Yvonne Adhiambo. Father-in-law of Grace, Walter and Christine. Beloved grandfather of Ralf jnr, Ryan, Andrew and Chebet.

Brother to Vitalis Gori, the late Florence Marende, the late Francis Ogira, Donald Okeyo, Collins Otieno, the late Rose Atieno, David Mwai, Peter Ogongi,Wiltiam Nyambok, the late Stephen Osunga, Samwel Oreje, the late Celine Apiyo and the late Elizabeth Adhiambo. Uncle to many beloved nephews and nieces.

Prayers are being held daily in Plainsview Estate South B, Sore Drive, House Number 778.

A fundraising will be held on Thursday, 20th July, 2023 from 5.30pm at All Saints Cathedral Church Kenyatta Avenue. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish, South B on Tuesday, 25th July, 2023 at 2.00pm.

The cortege will depart from Montezuma Funeral Home on 26th July, 2023. Burial service will be held on Thursday, 27th July, 2023 in Pith Nyadundo village, Uriri Sub-county, Migori County.

Eternal rest grant unto Raphael, Oh Lord and may perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen!
