RAPHAEL OMONDI KOWINO

Following God’s invitation to glory, Mr. Raphael Omondi Kowino transitioned to the spiritual realm on 7th July 2024 at MTRH, Eldoret. 

Raph was a life partner of Dom Kowino; a scion of Christine Anyango Nyo Oduol and Norbertus Owino.

Brother of the late Willie Kowino and the late Dismas Kowino.

Devoted father of Collins, Hilary, Irene, Austin, Pauline, Moses, Isaac, and the late Nyamburu. A loving grandfather of Tamara, Taagi,Treasure, Gamaliel, Lassera,Tonia, Ruphy, Rita, Raph Jr, Lola, and Raphaela.

He was a cherished father-in-law of Esther, Rumbi, David, Alex, Wilhelmina, and Ken. The uncle of Henry, Rosemary, Lilian, Timothy, Josephine, Jerry, Paul, Simon, Sylvester, Lucy, Chrispine, Norbert, Jacinta, Kevin, Christine, David, Clara, and Mercy Brother-in-law of Wilfrida, Mary, Anne, and Conslata.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Bulanda, Busia, next to Chrisco Church, for condolences, tributes, and prayers.

The cortege leaves Same Day Classmates Funeral Home, Sega, on 26th July 2024 at 11:00am for a 1:00pm requiem mass and viewing at St.Anne’s Catholic Church, Sega. Raph will lie in repose at his home on 26th July 2024.

The funeral ceremony and mass service are scheduled at his Busia home on Saturday, 27th July at 9:00am-3:00pm.

The graveside prayer and interment will be held at his ancestral home in Masewla Village, Butula Sub-County, on Saturday, 27 th July 2024 at 5:00pm.
