RAY ADOYO OGOLA

We are sad to announce the demise of Ray Adoyo Ogola of Rachuonyo & Rachuonyo Advocates which occurred on 23rd October 2024 at Kenyatta National Hospital after a long battle with cancer.

She was the daughter of Joel Rachuonyo and Esther Akuku, both late.

Step daughter to Mama Lydia Rachuonyo. Grand daughter of the late Harun Owuor and Hada Nyambune, the late Andrea Anindo and Masela Ojowi. 

Wife of Daniel Ogola. Daughter in-law of the late Jeconia Aoko and Siprosa Auma.

Mother of Esther Anita, Andrew Okoth and Shadrack Oduor.

Grandmother of Pedri Milan. Mother in-law of Simon Kakai. Nyawana of Alice Basweti and the late Nicholas Naitera.

Sister of Margaret Adhiambo, Duncan Odoyo, Olivia Obel, Evans Owuor, Clifford Okello, Dorothy Ouma, Japheth Ondiwa, Harold Anindo, Stephen Rachuonyo, Late Liziah Akinyi, Violet Awino, Tom Rachuonyo, Irene Asimba, Late Geoffrey Omondi and Deborah Adhiambo. 

Sister in-law of Pamela Odoyo, Millicent Owuor, Sarah Okello, Molly Ondiwa, Rachel Ndiema, Lorna Rachuonyo, Maria Rachuonyo, Bella Omondi among others.

She was  also in-law of Joshua Odhiambo & Florence, Arthur Onyango & Grace, Alfred Opiyo & Maria, Nixon Okeyo & Emma.

She was a dear aunt and friend to many. 

Prayer meetings and funeral arrangements are taking place daily at her Buru Buru residence.

There will be meetings of family and friends at the Nairobi Central SDA Church (Maxwell) on Tuesday 5th November, 2024 at 05:30 PM and Sunday 10th November, 2024 at 12:00Noon.

There will be a main fundraiser on Thursday 7th November, 2024 at the Nairobi Central SDA Church (Maxwell), Milimani/Jakaya Kikwete Road starting at 05:30 PM. 

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday 12th November, 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Nairobi Central SDA Church (Maxwell), Milimani/Jakaya Kikwete Road.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home for her rural home on 14th November, 2024.

The burial will take place on Friday 15th November, 2024 in Saye Village, Oyugis – Rachuonyo Sub-County.

The family wishes to express our heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and all the medical workers and the caregiver who attended to Ray during the last days of her struggle with ailment until she rested.

Special thanks go to Prof Walter Otieno Mwanda, Prof C.F. Otieno and Dr. Peter Oyiro Omondi for unwavering dedication and support.
