REBECCA WANJIRU MUTHUI

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved staff Mrs. Rebecca Wanjiru Muthui, of KCB Group Limited — Head Office, which occurred on 11th September, 2021, while undergoing treatment at The Aga Khan University Hospital.

Beloved daughter of the late Mr. Peter Nderitu and Mrs. Elizabeth Gathigia. She was sister to Ms. Rose Ella Wairema and Ms. Beatrice Wahiga. Loving wife of Mr. Samuel Muthui Muriithi and daughter-in-law to the late Cllr. Solomon Muriithi Muthui, Mrs. Rahab Kagure Muriithi, Mrs. Zipporah Wangeci Muriithi and Mrs. Catherine Watare Muriithi.

Loving mother to Elizabeth Gathigia (Wairimu) and Max Muriithi. She was mother-in-law to Mr. Gabriel Kariuki and loving grandmother to Terry Wanjiru Muturi and Kariuki Muturi. Rebecca was a wonderful cousin, cherished aunt, niece, sister-in-law and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Juja, Amani Kigwe estate, from 6:00pm; at her mums’ (retired Teacher Gathigia) home in Gathuthi; and Naro Moru.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home at Kabati (near Kenol) on Tuesday, 21st September, 2021 at 7:00am. The funeral service and burial will take place at their home in Naro Moru from 10:30am on the same day.
