REGINA WANGARI GICHOHI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved Regina Wangari Gichohi. She was the daughter of the late Leonard and the late Beth Kiragu.

She was the wife of the late Julius Gichuki Gichohi and daughter-in law of the late Shadrack Gichohi Kamau and the late Elizabeth Wanjiru Gichohi.

She was the mother of Angela Wanjiru Gichuki, Shadrack Anthony Gichohi & Edith Gichohi, Melanie Muthoni Gichuki and Daniel Kingori, Claire Mumbi Gichuki and Faith Wambui Gichuki She was the doting grandmother of Joshua Maingi, Sarah Mumo, Zawadi Wangeci, Isaiah Gichuki, David Githinji and Samuel Gichuki.

She was a sister of the late Wambui Muchiri, Dr. Ambrose Gatuma, Joseph Muriithi, Lydia Nyambura Mwangi, Irene Wagaki Waititu and Edith Gathoni Waziri.

Sister-in-law of Njeri &The late Edward Kamau, the late Nyakinyoro Mumbi, Andrew Kamau & the late Margaret Njeri, Joyce Waihiga & Munyua Gichuki, Virginia Mumbi & Maina Wanyiri, Wambugu Wa Gichohi & Wangui Wambugu, Alice Wambaire & the late Ngunjiri Gichohi.

Family and friends are meeting at her home in Thome, from 5:30 pm daily.

There will be a memorial service on Thursday 11th July 2024 at PCEA Gateway Church, Thome from 1:30 pm.

The cortege will leave KUTRRH Funeral home at 6.00am on Friday 12th July 2024 for burial at her home at Kanjama Village of Mathioya in Murang’a County.

She was a Lady of faith, and we can confidently say ‘She has fought the good fight, has finished the race, and kept the faith’.~ 2nd Timothy 4:7
