REUBEN KIBUETHIONG’O

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. Reuben Kibue Thiong’o, on the 26th of August, 2022.

Reuben was the son of the late James Walter Thiongo Kaniaru and Loise Njeri Thiong’o. Son-in-law to the late Njuguna Gachathi and Grace Wambui.

He was husband to Joyce Wanjiku Kibue. Reuben was father to James Thiong’o, Celine Njeri, Tracy Wambui and Patience Joy Wanjiru.

He was brother to the late George and Sylvia Thande, Geoffrey and Irene Mungai, Aston and Ann Gichuhi, the late Josephine Wanjiru and late Peter Karanja, Elizabeth Gathoni and David Kiarie, Faith Nduta and late Peter Kirima, Joseph and Susan Njihia, and Gladys and Kevin Saruni. Reuben was an uncle and cousin to many.

Friends and Family are meeting daily at 3.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements at his home, on Nzohe Road in Karen.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home at 8:30am, on 2nd September, 2022. The funeral service will be held at St. TimothyA.C.K Church – Kagira at 10.00am. Thereafter, he will be laid to rest at his farm in Kamangu/Thigio.
