REV. ENGINEER JAMES IRUNGU MWAI

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s perfect will that we announce the promotion to glory of Rev. Engineer James Irungu Mwai of Presbyterian Central Mission of Africa (PCMA), Nairobi Region, which occurred on Wednesday 8th September, 2021, after a sudden illness.

Son of John Mwai Wanjie and Margaret Gathiru Mwai. Loving husband of Cynthia Wambui (KCB – KICC Branch). Father of John Calvin Mwai.

Brother of Jane Wanjiku Ng’ang’a, Lucy Muthoni (Mercury Pharmacy Kiambu), the late Rev Peter Wanjie, Rev.Thomas Mwai (Goshen Mission Sanctuary Githurai 45), Stephen Mwai (Maryhill Girls), Sophia Wangari Mucheke (Maragua District Hospital), James Mwangi and the late Esther Wambui.

Son-in-law of John Chege and JaneWairimu from Mairi, Murang’a County. Brother-in-law of George Mbugua, Jonathan Mugo and Samuel Mwangi.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Kitengela and at his parents’ home in Kairichi Village, Murarandia Location Murang’a County, from 5.00pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home at 9.00ath, on Friday 17th September, 2021, followed by a funeral service and interment at Kairichi Village, Murarandia Location Murang’a County.
