REV. FR. FRANCIS MATHEKA KAVULYA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that the Catholic Diocese of Machakos announces the death of Fr. Francis Kavulya which occurred on Monday, 29th May 2023. Till his demise, he was working at Kithangaini Catholic Parish.

Fr. Francis Matheka was the son of the late Gabriel Kavulya Mulwa and the late Brigid Njoki Kavulya. Brother to the late Patrick Karanu, Rosemary Kaluki, Justina Katunge, Raphael Muthama, Petronillah Nthamo, Joseph Muema, Margaret Munini and Ann Mueni.

Uncle to Geoffrey, Soila, Kennedy, Wangui, Bernice, Robert, Sylvia, Jacqueline, Irene, Valentine, Mercy, Benson, Gabriel, Arune, Rachel, Nicole,Victor and Theodore.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Machakos at 8.00a.m. on Monday, 5th June 2023 to our Lady of Lourdes Cathedral for a requiem mass at 10.00a.m. thereafter funeral rite follows at the Clergy Cemetery Katoloni.
