REV. FR. JOSEPH MWATELA KALAMA

It is with deep regret that the Catholic Archdiocese of Mombasa announces the death of Rev. Fr. Joseph Mwatela Kalama, which occurred on 5th December, 2020. He was until his demise the Parish Priest of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Chaani Parish.

Fr. Joseph Mwatela was the son of the late Mr. Peter Kalama and Mrs. Regina Mbodze. He was a brother to the late Emmanuel Washe, the late Elizabeth Luvuno, the late Cecilia Mbeyu, the late Maria Chizi and Elvina Nyamvula.

The funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, 16th December, 2020 at the Holy Ghost Cathedral at I 0:00 AM followed by the burial at Mbaraki Cemetery.

Eternal rest grant unto him Oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. Rest in Peace Fr. Joseph Mwatela
