REV. JAMES KIMANI MUNYUI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the demise of Rev. James Kimani Munyui that occurred on 9 th of January 2025.

He was son of the late Munyui Thuo and the late Gathoni Munyui.

He was beloved husband of the late Catherine Wacera, father of Rev. Capt. Salome Wanjiku Kimani (ACK Diocese of Thika – Mukuyuini Parish), Anne Gathoni (Ruiru-Juja Water), the late Moses Munyui, the late Edwin Maina and the late Gathoni Kimani.

He was brother of Sarah Nduta Waruingi (Wa Gitogo).

He was grandfather of Victor Kimani, Jesee Kimani and Evans Baraka.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Ngungugu Karuri Ward-Kiambu County opposite Homex Apartments from 5:30pm.

The funeral will be held on Thursday 16th January 2025.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Referral Hospital Mortuary- Kahawa West at 8:00am.

Funeral service will be held on the same day at ACK St. James Tiikaya church at 11:00am, thereafter interment will be at his home Ngungugu village– opposite Homex Apartments, Karuri Ward, Kiambu County.
