It is with deep sorrow that we announce promotion to glory of Mwalimu (Rtd), District overseer PEFA (Rtd) Rev. Jonathan Obago Wakoli, which occurred oil 1661 August, 2021 after a battle with prostate cancer.

Son to the late Justus Akoli and late Angelina Apiyo of Lubanga Village, Lung’anyiro Sub-location, Koyonzo Location, Matungu Sub-county, Kakamega County. A loving husband to Hendricah Atsieno Wakoli. A caring father to Joseph Tabu (departed), Atsieno Wakoli (departed), Margret Olao, Penina Nakhabi, Jackline Mapera (departed), Rose Karafu (departed), Doris Nyaranga, Hon. Benard Wakoli (immediate former FORD-KENYA National Youth Leader), Joel Wakoli (departed), Shadrack Wakoli and Brenda Wakoli (Adopted). A brother to Norah Auma (departed), Redemta Aoko, Khatenje Akoli (departed), Douglas Odhiambo Akoli (departed), Florance Anyango and Jane Akoth (lyaya) (departed).

A grandfather of 20 and a great-grandfather of 16. Father-in-law to Jemimah Njoroge (Equity Bank and Harriet Wafula.

The body leaves Butula Funeral Home for a requiem mass at Bakamoyo PEFA church and paying of last respect at home on 26th August, 2021.

Mzee will be interred on Friday 27th August, 2021 at his family home in Lubanga Village.

Mzee we loved you but God loved you more. Rest in peace, till we meet again.
