REV. PETER KANIAH KARIUKI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to higher glory of Rev. Peter Kaniah Kariuki, Secretary General Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA) after a short illness.

Son of the late Enoch Kariuki and Mrs. Damaris Nyandia Kariuki. Loving husband to Nelius Wanjiru Kaniah. Father to Lydiah Njeri Wandia, Kenneth Kariuki and Joel Gikaria and a grandfather to Niamh Maryanne Wanjiru. Brother to Richard Mundia, Samuel Mwangi, George Ndirangu, Wachera Mbogo, Wanja Ciira, Melody Mwangi and the late David Gatua. Brother-in-law, Son-in-law, cousin and uncle to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting for prayers and funeral arrangements at his home in Ruai and Kangaita – Nyerl every day at 3.00 p.m.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday 30th July, 2020 10.00 a.m. at the PCEA Church of the Torch, Thogoto and interment thereafter at the church’s cemetery.

Rev. Kaniah will be missed by many friends, families and colleagues. May the Name of the Lord be glorified. Read with us 2nd Timothy 4:7 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Hence there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing”.
