REVEREND CANON JOSEPH KIMULWA CHANG’ACH

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Reverend Canon Joseph Kimulwa Chang’ach of Cheboen Sub-Location (Kapkahugura), Kabiemit Location, Elgeyo Marakwet County.

The late Canon served for forty years as a Priest in the Anglican Church Dioceses of Nakuru, Eldoret, Kapsabet and Kitale until his retirement in the year 2006.

Son of the late Chang’ach Saburi and Susan Kabilo. Beloved husband of Dorcas Kimoi Chang’ach. Doting father of the late Manasses, the late Peter, Boaz Chang’ach, Euginia Chang’ach, Monicah Chang’ach and Ezra Chang’ach. Father-in-law of Carolyn, Evans, Vibian, Isaac and Mercy.

Brother of Eunice Kures, Esther Changwony, Grace Kiplagat, Prof. John Chang’ach (Moi University), SSP Edward Chang’ach of KPS (Dadaab), the late James Kiplagat, Christina Kiplagat, Simion Kiplagat, Paul Kiplagat, Mary Kirui, Julius Kiplagat and Eunice Karin Uncle of Sarah, Sammy, the late Alice, Dan, Gladys, David, Duncan, Dr. Caroline, Ruth, Kiprono, Daisy, Kemboi, Mercy, Dennis, Sharon, Brenda, Kipkemboi, Kibet, Kipkorir and Jepchumba.

Brother-in-law to Nicholus Kiptui, among others. Son-in-law of Kiptul Maluei and Elizabeth Sod Maluei. Grandfather of jemutai, Kiptoo, Kiprop, Kigen, Kiplagat, Jepchirchir, Kipruto, Kiplimo, Rahab, Rably, Ann, Clare, Baby Gly, Belinda, and lvvy.

The cortege leaves MTRH Funeral Home on Friday 16th July, 2021, for a requiem service at St. Mathews Cathedral – Eldoret, from 10.00am, thereafter leaves for another Service at ACK St. Marks Lomoywo.

Funeral service and burial will be held on Saturday 1 7th July, 2021, at his farm, Poywech, Elgeyo Marakwet County, from 8.00am. Online Mourners may join via Zoom (Meeting iD:9612 1667842 Pass-code: 272841).
