RICHARD KAMAU MACHARIA (PLUMS HOTEL)

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of Gods will that we announce the untimely demise of Richard Kamau Macharia (Plums Hotel) that occurred on Monday 29th June 2020. He hailed from Gacharage ini, Mathioya Muranga County.

The 4th born of the late John Mucheru Kihumba and Esther Wanjiru Mucheru. Beloved husband to Peris Wairimu Macharia. Brother of the late Samuel Kihumba, Francis Mwangi, John Kibue, the late Sister Priscah Muthoni, Alfred Karobia, Teresiah Nyambura, Priscah Wangui, the late Susan Wangari, Michael Gitahi, the late Peter Waweru and Joseph Mucheru. Father to John Mucheru, Simon Mwangi, Samuel Kihumba (Ticha), Kennedy Kaibere and Eglah Wanjiku. Father-in-law of Joann Chanya. Grandfather to Richard Kamau, Julian Kamau and Princess.

Family and friends are meeting daily at 4pm, Plums hotel and at his home in Thome I.

The cortege leaves KU Memorial Funeral Home at 9am on 7th July 2020 for the funeral service and burial at his farm in Summerry, Maragua.
