Loving husband of Dorris Katungwa Muthai and father of Irene Mwatu, Gloria Safari, Fidelis Mutua and Kennedy Mutuku. Son of the late Mutua Mulwa, the late Wayua Mutua. Step son of Ngonyo Mutua. Father-in-law of Leonard Mwatu, Timothy Safari Mbaluka, Anne Mutua and Margaret Kennedy. Grandfather of Yvonne, Brenda, Stacy, Collins, Shantel, Muthai, Sharleen, Timothy, Lincoln, Lenny, Seth and Blessing. Brother of the late David, the late Francis, Nicholas and step brother of the late Mwakavi among others.

Friends and relatives are on a virtual meeting forum to prepare for his burial.

The cortege leaves Machakos Funeral Home on Saturday June 13, 2020 at 10.00 am for service and interment at his home Misakwani village, Mbitini location Machakos County.
