It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that the Ontweka family announce the peaceful passing on of Elder Richard Ontweka Okemwa which occurred on Sunday 30th June 2024.

Dear Husband of mary Kwamboka Ontweka.

Caring father of Jeff Yophes Okemwa, Evelyne Nyagogwa, Eng. Zablon Ontweka, Lynet Kemunto, and CPA Ontweka Vane.

Son of the late Nyabuti Okemwa and the late Pasicalia Nyaboke of Gesabakwa, Kisii county.

Father-in-law of Ruth Moraa, Ruth Muia and Joseph Rioba.

Grandfather of Sharmaine Nyaboke, Ivy Lavender, Braston Nyaguta, Merlyn Nyaboke, Nicole Kwamboka, Gift Ontweka,Tahlia Kerubo, Fortune Nyaboke, Braylon Ontweka, Brailley Kwamboka, Randy Ontweka, Maya Nyamboga, Meghan Nyamboga, Kelsy Kwamboka and Kingsly Ontweka.

Brother of the late Stephen Nyaguta, Ezekiel Orito, the late Mogusu Okemwa and Florence Nyambeki Onchabo.

Brother-in-law of Mochabo Omwange, John Omwange, Henry Omwange, Ruth Mogoi, Charles Omwange and David Onchabo. Semo of Kennedy Tinega.

The cortege leaves Bosongo Hospital mortuary on Thursday 11th July 2024 at 10:00am.

Burial ceremony will be held on 12th July 2024 at his home in Gesabakwa Village, Bombaba Borabu Ward Kisii County.
