ROBERT KINYUA NABEA

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing on of our beloved Mwalimu Robert Kinyua Nabea, who went to be with the Lord on August 25, 2024, while undergoing treatment at Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital, Nairobi.

Mwalimu Kinyua was the son of the late Elijah M’Itumbiri and the late Martha Ciokamwira.

He was the loving husband of Rose Mwonjiru Kinyua.

He was the beloved brother of the late Stanley Gituma, the late Francis M’Murithi, the late Rael Kanario, the late Severina Mombui, and Joseph Kingirwa.

He was son-in-law of the late Elijah M’Athiru and the late Sarah Ciolarama.

He was a loving father of Lucy, Dr. Juster, Doris, Moses, Jane, Purity, Joyce, Phineas, and Glory.

He was also a cherished father-in-law of Prof. George Muthaa, Dr. David Ntongai, Manasses Ithula, Julius Manyara, Titus Mutwiri, Munene Kailikia, Eunice Gitonga, and Gwendolin Mutuma.

He was also a blessed grandfather to many and a great-grandfather. He was an uncle to many.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital on Saturday, September 7, 2024, for a funeral service at Muthara Primary School, followed by burial rites at his home in Mailune Village, Tigania East Sub-County, Meru County.
