It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing to glory of our beloved Robert Peter Maina Githua on the morning of 3rd April, 2021 after a short and sudden Illness.

Son of the late Thukumu and Lucy Wairimu. Beloved husband of Ret. Elder Alice Muthoni Maina (PCEA Dandora, Baraka Church). Loving father of Christine Maina (Co-op Bank), Anthony Githua, Susan Maina (Brackenhurst) and Irene Maina (Safaricom PLC). Brother of David Githui, Agnes Wanjiku, Ngatia and late Eunice Nyaguthii. Father-in-law of Macharia Gatumia (CITAM) and Ben Tumanka.

Son-in-law of late Koro & Susan Wangui. Brother-in-law of Johnson Mathenge, Christine & Mbugua Goi, Charles Mwangi, Carolyne Wanjiku and Josphat & Lilian Maina. Grandfather of Abby & Tim Macharia; Nenkai, Lenkai and Maina Melita Tumanka.

The cortege leaves KU Funeral Home, on 8th April, 202 I for a celebration of life service at his home, Mungi Village, Ragati Karatina, at 10.00am.

Friends and relatives are meeting at both his Murera farm (Ruiru) and Mungi Village, Ragati (Karatina).
