It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mama Robina Bonareri Maosa which occurred on 18/08/24.

Daughter of the late Manyange Ondimu and the late Nyanchama Manyange Omboye of Matierio Village, Bombaba. 

Loving wife of the late Maosa Onunga.

Mother of Nyanchama John, Andrew Osoro, Clecencia Nyaboke, Veronica Bosibori, Romanus Mwaniki, Peter Nyang’ara, the late John Nyarwati, Anna Nyambune and Nick Oseko. 

Mother-in-law of Ruth Osoro, Beatrice Nyambane, Diana Owino, the late Margaret, the late John Okong’o, Peter Ogembo, Mogesa Okioga and Matagi Juma. 

Grandmother of Gregory, Maureen, Collins, Sharon, Nyambane, Onunga, Onyancha, Denzel, Megan, Kebabe, Teresa, Raphael, Powell among others. Korera of the late Okong’o Kebabe, the late Joash Nyabuto, the late Ogembo Onchoke, the late Okioga Ntarige, Mary Nyambane, Gatarina Ombiro, the late Rael Kwamboka and Paul Owino.

Sister of Teresia Bitengo. Sister in-law of Bingere, the late Mochache, Kebungo, Mangera, the late Obwaya, Nyabonyi, Harun, the late Aburi among others.

She was a cousin, aunty and a friend to many.

The cortege leaves Christamarianne Mission Hospital Mortuary on 29th August, 2024.

Burial will take place on 30th August, 2024 at her home in Nyabisia Sub location (near Mogonga Market Centre), Kisii County.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
