ROSE NJERI WATHEKA

1966 – 2020  

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mrs. Rose Njeri Watheka at Mater Hospital Nairobi on 8th November, 2020. Rose was a Director of Sonkar Limited.

Loving wife of Josphat Watheka Kariuki (Sonkar Limited). Daughter of the late David Mburu Njoya and Monica Wairimu. Dotting mother of Dr. Irene Nyambura (Maragua Level 4 Hospital), Monica Wairimu, Ann Wangari and Victor Kariuki. Mother-in-law to be to Dr. Bernard Mungai (Murang’a Level 5 Hospital). Sister of Mary Waithira and Humphrey Njoroge, Jane Wanjiku and Samuel Mwangi, Emma Wambui, Grace Wanjiru and Anthony Nyaga, George Njoya and Lucy Wangechi, Martin Njoroge and Caroline Wanjira. Daughter-in-love of the late Sospeter Kariuki and Martha Kabura. Sister-in-law of Dr. Stephen and Teresia Irungu, Francis and Emmah Mburu, Charles Ndukuyu, Ann Wangari and Mbugua, James Mwangi, Frashiah Njeri and Victor, Lisper Wanjiru and Mambo. A special aunt and cousin to many.

There will be a funds drive, today 11th November 2020, at Mr. Watheka’s residence in Ruiru, to offset the medical bill and funeral expenses from 5.00pm.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home Kabati on Friday 13th November, 2020 at 7.00 am. The funeral service will be held at ACK St. Paul’s Mukuyu-ini Church in Ruiru at 9.00am. Rose will be laid to rest at Kiria Village, Mugoiri ward Murang’a County.
