ROSE WANJIRU GITHINJI (WAMAKUNGU)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Rose Wanjiru Githinji on 11th August 2020.

Daughter of the late Jane Wangari and the late Makungu Irungu. Sister to Gathoni Mugo. Beloved Wife of Robert Githinji, cherished mother of James Makungu, Stanley Githinji (Old Mutual Insurance), the late Alice Wanjiku and Dr. Charles Githinji (University of Nairobi).

Mother in-law of Alice Nyaguthii (TechnoServe), Ann Wanjiru (Garlands Hospital) and Joyce Waititu. Grandmother of Robert Githinji, Grace Wairimu, Victoria Wanjiru, Daniella Waihuini, Gabriella Wanjiku, Lynn Wanjiru, Deborah Waceke, Ian Robert Githinji, Stephen Githinji, Grace Wairimu Mwai and many others.

The cortege will leave Mukurweini Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday 18th August 2020 for a funeral service at the PCEA Mihuti Church. Thereafter the burial will be at her Nguui Farm, Gatheya Sub-Location, Mihuti Location, Mukurweini Sub-County.
