It is with acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Rosemary Muthoni, which occurred on 21/06/2023 at her home in Embu.

Daughter of the late Paul Kirogo Gichui and Esther Wangechi. Sister to Mwangi Wa Kirogo, Edward Mugai, Catherine Wambui, Rispha Waithera, the late Raphael Kihara, the late Wairimu Kirogo and the late Mutuangure.

Mother to Betty Kibaara (The Rockefeller Foundation), Caroline Wangechi (Ndung’u Spices – Embu), and Rispha Gicheha (UN).

Mother-in-love to Sammy Kaunga, Stephen Ndungu and Anthony Kuria.

Grandmother to Lillian Wanjiku, Melody Muthoni, Melody Makena, Ian Kuria, Sereria Kaunga, Ryan Baraka, Megan Natasha and Runchi Baraka Kibaara. She was aunt to many.

The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral Home at 8:30am, for a church service at the Full Gospel Church, Mikimbi Village, Kangaru. Thereafter, burial service will be held at her home in Mikimbi Village, Kangaru, Embu on 30/06/2023.
