It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of a matriach Mrs Rosemary Wafula Mwangale.

Wife to the late Samson Band Wafula, Daughter to Philip and Zipporah Mwangale. Mother to Winston, Edith (Kenya Pipeline), Eric Wafula (MCA Hospital Ward, Transnzoia), Lilian and the late Philip Mwangale. Sister to the late Esther Musamia, the late Rachel Wakhungu, the late Absolom Wekhomba, Peter Wekhomba, the late Susan Wasishino, the late John Lusweti, the late Hon. Elijah Mwangale, the late Gladys Mwangale, Mary Omonya, Richard Makhapila, Dr.Wycliff Basa, Alice Were, Ressa Obura, the late Joyce Kokonya, the late Joe Murumba, the late James Sinja and Edwin Makanyanga. Mother-in-law to Celestine Mukhwana, Martin Wesula, Janet Wekhomba, the late Tom Amunya, Philip Kisia and Walter Mutende.

Sister-in-law to the late Bishop Wanyonyi, the late Rosemary Wafula Musa, Rasoa and others. Grandmother to Samson Wafula, Rebecca, Sharon, Mwangale Fridah, Charles, Samson Wesula, Justus Wamalwa, Vanessa, Samson Wasike, Amy, Khamuye, Diana, oel, Elijah, Ethen, Evana, James, Stacy, Ludo,Yanga and others. Cousin to the Muchimutis, Mufutus, Nabachenias,Watitis, the Sarais, and the entire Basombi clan. Loving aunt and mother to Nancy, Beverly, Kent, Jacinta, Anne, Grace, Vicky, Nally, Philip, juma, the Musamlas, Wakhungus, Absoloms, Wekhombas, Wasishinos, Luswetis, Wasikes, Omonyas, Makhapilas, Basas,Weres, Murumbas, Skips, Kokonyas, Makanyangas, Rastos and Chulis.

The body leaves Kiminini cortege on Monday 21/9/2020 for a church service at Friends Church, Mufutu. Burial on Tuesday 22/9/2020 from 9.am. at her home In Sabata farm, Matunda (Kiminini).
