ROSEMARY WANJIRU GICHUKI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the resting of Rosemary Wanjiru Gichuki (Gachororo Primary School -Juja) on 24th February 2023 after a gallant fight with a long illness.

Wife of George Gichuki (Biashara Leo Magazine). Beloved mother to Waridi Wambui ( Mt. Carmel Girls) and Teresa Njeri (Juja Kids Palace School).

Daughter of the late Joseph Wairagu Wanjima and Teresa Njeri Wairagu (St.Teresa Academy — Othaya). Daughter in law to the late Washington Rurigi Gichuki (Ndagitari) and Regina Nyakonyu Rurigi.

Sister to Grace Mweru (Kenyatta University) and Arch. Mugo Wachira, the late Peter Wanjima, Margaret Wangari (St.Teresa Academy) and Albert Kingo’ri, John Githinji (St.Teresa Academy) and Purity Githinji (Go Auto), Magdaline Gathoni (Syokimau) and Kimani Kang’ethe (KRA), James Mwangi and Veronica Njoki (Utawala), Patrick Mwai (PE-Kenya) and Jane Waithera (LFTW), Catherine Wanjiku (KMTC — Mombasa) and Mwangi Nyaga( KDF).

Sister in law to Margaret Wanjiku and Mathew Kariuki (Ruiru), Judith Waruiru and Joseph Karanja (Kandara), Nancy Muthoni and Daniel Wambugu (Othaya), Eunice Njeri (Tanzania), Lay leader Jane Watetu (ACK St. Luke’s – Umoja) and Kinyua Karangi (Komarock), Patrick Maina, Edith Wanjiku (Ganda Shopping Mall) and Griffin Waitara. She was an aunt and cousin to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers at ACK Kenyatta Road (Juja) from 6.00pm.

There will be a memorial service at ACK Kenyatta Road on Wednesday, 1st March 2023 at 5.00 pm.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home (Kabati) on Friday, 3rd March 2023 at 7.00am. Thereafter, there will be a church service at St. Andrews ACK Church, Kagongo, at 11.00 am. The burial will follow at her father-in-law’s home in Huho-ini village, Chinga, Othaya.
