It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of The Rt. Rev Dr. Francis Mwayi Abiero (L.Th. Dip. Th. M. Th. PhD (Hons) H.S.C, which occurred on the 29th October, 2021, at 6:49am.

Beloved Husband to Alice Adhiambo Ngesa.

Father of Aaron Mwayi, Victor Hosea Mwayi, Winnie Mwayi – Odidi and Timona Mwayi. Father-in-law of Sharon Ouma – Mwayi and Daniel Martin Odidi.

Brother of Leonida Adhiambo, Sarah Anyango and Hellen Atieno.

The cortège leaves The Aga Khan Hospital – Kisumu Mortuary – for a requiem mass at the St. Stephen’s ACK Cathedral Kisumu on Friday 5th November, 2021, at 11:00am.

The Burial Service will be held on Saturday, 6th November, 2021, at Alwala Primary School in South West Seme, Seme Sub-county, Kisumu County.
