RTD. ELDER DAVID GITONGA GACUGU

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of retired Elder David Gitonga Gacugu that occurred at his home in Nakuru on 21st January, 2022.
He is the son the late Githeca Gacugu and the late Wangechi Wangunya. Husband to Teresia Nduta Gitonga. Father to Mary Wangechi Njenga (USA), Peter Gacugu (Nakuru), Jane Wambui (Nakuru), Julia Nyambura Njau (Nakuru) Esther Kabura Pein (Germany), the late Grace Muthoni, Milkah Njeri Muthami (Nairobi), Ruth Wanjiru Ojeaga, (UK) and Moses Mbugua (UK). Father-in-love to Reverend Johnson Njenga Kamau (USA), Gladys Wangari Gacugu (Nakuru), Henry Njau Ngigi (Nakuru), John Muthami Mungai (USA),Victor Ojeaga (UK), Nyambura (UK). Grandfather to 23 Children.
Brother to the late Beatrice Nyambura Ngumba, the late Muthoni Gacugu, the late Naomi Wanjiru Warungu, the late Mary Wanjiku Nganga and George Githeca Gacugu. Step-brother to the late James Kanyi, the late Francis Kamau Mwinga, George Kihara, Joseph Kiarie, Jane Nyambura, Susanna Wambui and David Kamau. Son-in-law to Mrs. Rahab Wambui Karoki of Mwiciringiri, Naivasha.
Prayers are being held daily at his home in Murunyu, Nakuru County.
The cortege leaves PNN Funeral Home – Nakuru on 31st January, 2022, at 8.00am, funeral service will take place same day at PCEA Murunyu Church 10.00am, thereafter interment at his home few meters from the church.
We loved you, but the Lord loved you most, fare thee well till we meet again. Tor those who follow Godly paths will rest in peace when they die. (Isalah 57:2)
